Calcium supplements are not necessary unless you have less than 1200mg of calcium in a day. Tallying your calcium is suggested if you strongly believe your calcium is low. But be aware of the many foods that contain calcium. Some you may not realize are almonds and broccoli.
We require vitamin D 2000 IU a day. Children need vitamin D also. Babies need 400 UI and children need 600-800 UI.
Vitamin B12 is not a need. If you suspect a deficiency request a blood test from the doctor.
1000mg of Omega 3 and Q10 is good for memory improvement.

Next district meeting is October 19th in Fonthill.
We will be hosting the 2019 WIW WI District meeting.

Elaine Tully, President;
Reminder of our High Tea Saturday October 28th at 2pm.
The Brantford Safety village questioned if we wish to participate again in their Halloween at the Safety Village event October 28th. With it being the same day as our High Tea event and someone made mention that it was a very inopportune event to really show women what we were about. Marilyn Sewell moved that we not participate, seconded by Jennifer Budd, carried.
Paris fair shared their pleasure in having us sponsor the Apron and Queen Elizabeth cake categories. They asked if we would like to do the same next year. We discussed the great responses to the categories. Janice Kyle moved that we keep to the same sponsoring and Cassie Easton seconded the motion. Carried. A second year with these prize categories may bring in more entries as people may remember it from the year before. We may make changes our third year of sponsoring.
Our Bartender David has volunteered to enter us into the Paris Christmas Parade. He also offered to drive their tractor, pulling a wagon that would fit a good number of us. We as a group accepted and Janice Kyle volunteered as a Float coordinator. Others that joined the committee are Susan Stulen, Michelle V, Meegan, Trish, and Denise. The Parade is December 2nd in the evening.
